Secondary teacher certification coursework, 2002 to 2004
Major: Secondary Mathematics. Minor: Secondary Chemistry.
34 credits including a semester of student teaching.
The certification itself is issued by the state, not the college. Michigan issued mine in 2004 on the strength of this coursework and my teaching at Trombly. Pennsylvania issued Instructional I certificates in Mathematics 7–12 and Chemistry 7–12 in March 2007 when I moved back. Both are active.
